Bath Street Car Park

Small carpark on the edge of town. Cost is £1.15 per hour up to 6pm. There ycar charging and a few disabled parking spaces. The ticket machine accepts card payments.

You will need lots of change to use this carpark. You can only by time in 1 hour amounts. 1 hour is 70p, so make sure you have 50p + 20p, 2 hours needs £1 + 20p + 20p, 3 hours is £2 + 10p, 4 hours is £2 + 50p + 20p + 10p. If you put a £1 in the machine it won't give your change, but it won't give you extra time either. As it says on the machine in very small writing 'over payments are accepted'. Put £1 in and you get robbed of 30p, because you will only get a ticket for 1 hour , which cost 70p. If you haven't got the exact change you need, it's a 10 minute walk to the nearest shop to get some change. But remember to buy something that will get you the coinage you need. Buy something for 10p or £1.10 will get you 10p, 20p and 50p in your change. There is also a limited on the number of coins you can put in the parking machine. It's about 7, don't be thinking you can just feed in a stack of 14 X 10p.

Good location An OK Pay & Display parking spot. Accepts Coins and Card. The road is a bit rough and paint markings are worn off which is why causing bit of an unorganised parking.

We can always manage to get a parking spot here. It is a reasonable price (compared to others in Huddersfield 70p per hour Mon-Sat £1 for 4 hours Sun, Bank holidays free) and it is a short walk from town.

It's a car park. It was free when I went due to covid. Pricing looks decent for Huddersfield when you do have to pay. Decent location but capacity isn't huge.
