Free parking after 6pm and reduced special rate after 4:30pm as well. Please see my image of the tariff board for the very latest charges here as lots of people are reporting inaccurate fees. The historic railway vent chimneys in the car park very different as well.

You had to download an app using a qr code that you also had to download and scan. If you have no internet or didn't know how to download then it would be a problem. You only found out the car parking costs aftwards when you have left the car park as the cameras scan your registration plate on the way in and the way out. I thought technology would be easier. What happened to getting a ticket on the way in and paying it on the way out?

It's a car park, so there's not much to say about it. If you're caught up in a zombie apocalypse, other than having potential cars to step for parts, it's not going to be much help. Charges are alright, I suppose, but the fact it's at the top of the hill means that you've a trek after standing in the bored boyfriend queue waiting for your partner to try every item in every shop. If this is you, I suggest you get the bus or train and go sit in over of the many great pubs and have a few pints

a 10 min walk out of town, prices have gone up from 4/day to 6.50/day and ticket machines running a day out of sync making expense claim difficult. not a fan of kirklees run facilities

Cheap rates (£2.50 for 5 hours on a Saturday) and lots of spaces BUT tried to pay with a card on the machine - first time it didn't work and the second time it charged me but didn't give me a ticket! Ended up paying through the RingGo app which charges you £3.06 for 5 hours. We were in a rush so just paid it but it was frustrating to be charged twice and to have to pay more through the app.
