Northern Gent Barbers

First visit to Northern Gent today for a beard trim and tidy. Warm and friendly service with a smile from James in a traditional barber shop with a modern twist. He did a great job and took time in trimming, shaping and tidying my beard and explaining the process along the way. Great online booking option too. Will definitely visit again.

If you were previously like me and searching for a high quality Barber that actually understands how to properly cut your hair then James at Northern Gent has got to be one of the best barbers I've ever been to. After my original Barber retired I had been on a 3 year search for someone who understands hair, especially mine being curly and wild. I went to all kinds of barbers and they always seemed to be a one size fits all hair cut. It never quite had the tailored experience that I was looking for in a hair cut. A lot of the barbers I went to were also quite aggressive with me.(usually the Iranian/middle Eastern type barbers) and also charged a close to £20 for a short back and sides which is ridiculous. However, I was so pleased I had found James at Northern Gent because none of these problems are present here. He's a super nice bloke, excellent businessman and he's the only Barber (since my original Barber that retired) that I want to pay more for a hair cut. You'll feel that you have been treated well here. It may just be something as simple as a hair cut but James makes it much more than that. I'd highly consider visiting if you're the king of person like me who is always just not happy with your hair cut because James will fix that for you.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Northern Gents, warm welcome, comfort chairs, good chat and a great haircut to finish. Will be going back again for sure.
