I recently purchased a car from SSC and the service was absolutely amazing! The staff were very helpful over the phone and always reassured me throughout the process. When I arrived at the dealership to collect the car, everything was handled smoothly and quickly. The team were welcoming and even offered refreshments while I completed the paperwork. Overall, a great experience from start to finish — highly recommend SSC to anyone looking to buy a car!

I can honestly say that buying my car from Shaks has been the best car buying experience I’ve ever had, friendly, professional service from start to finish. Also a great after sale service. I’ve bought cars from Mercedes and Honda in the past and I can say that the service I received from Shaks was far and above better all round. I’m certain whether you’re buying a super car (which a may say are amazing) or just a more “standard” car, I assume you’ll receive the same level of a brilliant service from these guys. I bought a Mercedes CLA250e the car is amazing, and coupled with the great service provided, this purchase has been a pleasure from start to finish. I’d like to give a special mention to Khizar who has been a top man, throughout the purchase. It’s refreshing to deal with a car sales person who’s a genuinely good guy.

Before I proceed, I am aware that Shaks Specialist Cars become very defensive on their one star reviews, disregarding people’s experiences, so I will make it very clear that every message, email and phone call for the duration of my experience has been recorded, and is clear proof of the illegal practices that SSC undertook during the sale of their vehicle to me. In May 2024, I purchased an E63S from SSC. The car was visually and mechanically fine upon viewing. As this is one of the less premium cars that SSC sell, I did have to chase them a lot in order for the sale to go through, without my persistence it wouldn’t have. If it’s not £100,000+, you will be chasing the purchase, they will not chase your sale. Due to their apparent reputation and fancy showroom, when they advertised the car to me with full service history, I did not question it (my mistake). I then kept the car for 18 months before selling last month. Upon giving my vehicle to another dealership to sell, they questioned me on the service history, that there was no paperwork for 3 years of its life in the book and no record with Mercedes online history. I went back to SSC to speak about it amicably, get the paperwork l needed in order to sell it, & I to chase them like a dog for over a week. After doing that, I finally got told that the services were done on the car at Mercedes Benz Bromley. I was also told the decats and stage 2 was done at Deutschtech, and if I ring both places they should be able to provide me with all the paperwork I need. So l did, I gave Mercedes all 3 regs that the cars had, and the VIN, nothing. They said the cars never been to them nor for parts or for any work, and if it had they would have a record. Deutschtech said the exact same thing in relation to the map and decat. I then rang SSC back, and asked for an explanation. To be exactly specific, Jed (one of the managers I believe) actually offered to buy the car off me at retail value, if I bought a G Wagon from them, which he said he would speak to Shak about. I said ok, let me know. I never heard back from them (what a surprise) but the fact that this was his only way to explain / fix this situation is clear proof that they know they mis-sold me the car. They're now called Shaks Specailst Scams after my encounter with them! If you’re considering parting your hard earned money to buy your dream car from these guys, I would seriously re-consider.
