had a fantastic experience shopping at the Halfords store in Huddersfield! The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to help me find exactly what I needed. The store is well-organized, clean, and stocked with a great range of quality products – from car accessories and bikes to tools and maintenance essentials. I was especially impressed by how patient and professional the team was, answering all my questions and offering great advice. It’s clear they really care about their customers. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this store to anyone looking for great service and top-notch products in Huddersfield!”

I found the staff at Halfords so wonderfully helpful and with a great sense of humour. One expects staff in a store to be courteous, but the shear helpfulness felt quite tangible and left me with a warm feeling that the staff had been genuinely pleased about my visit. Well done Halfords, first class service.

Poor customer service. Firstly, went to purchase a bike. Waited a while as no staff in the bike area. On asking somebody downstairs if there will be anyone that can help, staff member responded very rudely and abrupt telling us the staff member was on their break and that we would "just have to wait".. Staff member came back from his break and came to help- Was sizing up a bike for my 14year old and was told to get a small mens bike, which i challenged (it wasnt much bigger than the kids Large one he already had)- Staff then went to finish his break.. Waited for the bikes to be unhooked from the chain so my son could sit of the bike properly- Was told by the first rude staff member that he wont be unhooking the bike and they are not to be tested for sizing and not built properly. (What a liar) Following day, went back to try the bike and give feedback on the poor customer service. Spoke to a man called Arran who was really helpful and resolved the issue- He unhooked the chain and sized the bike for my son- Needed a Medium adults bike as i suspected. Secondly, Fast forward 5 months, took the bike back for a repair, was told it would be £50 and shouldnt be anymore. Got a call to say bike was ready to collect. Went to get it and was charged more than £50. I asked why i wasnt called before doing work on the bike if it was more than quoted- Was told it was an "estimate" and it says on my invoice i was called and answered--Yes to tell me the work was completed and the bike was ready for collection. When collecting the bike, staff member had me waiting at the desk for 10 minutes whilst he was gassing with a woman about home life- Nothing relevant to halfords or the products they sell. -The staff member told me he was sorry about the issues from today- but sounded sarcastic to me!

we would like to thank Richard who works at your Huddersfield branch for his knowledge expertise and lovely manner that he has with customers. he made our experience of buying 2 Carrera folding electric bikes a pleasure. starting with asking questions about what we expected from a bike, what it could do range wise, terrain.how well these bikes are made, cost, care. he is a credit to your company with his sales patter, knowledge, felt so comfortable and not pushed/rushed into anything.A excellent handover explaining every feature of the bike. once again a big thank you to Richard. Had such a wonderful experience at Halford in Huddersfield. A guy name BEN went beyond to help me as I was struggling to find something for my car which was broken down in the middle of the road near Texaco. Ben was so nice, helped me out and I am highly thankful for his help. Thanks once again Ben!!!
