On 2 occasions now ,I have taken jewellery to sell and been offered ridiculous low prices , took a watch into ramsdens and told it was not worth anything ,tried the other very reputable company in Huddersfield and got offered £400. Needless to say again I will never use or recommend ramsdens even for currency, which I have always used ramsdens, but NEVER AGAIN.
First time visiting Ramsdens, greeted by a nice assistant told me about the jewellery I was interested in and also told me about foreign currency that Ramsdens do, which I never knew they did. Very helpful, her name is May.
Have used them several times for currency exchange.Always had pleasant and great conversations with staff. Unless staff have changed how can people write such negative comments? Did you all start in an agressive way as is unfortunately the norm for many folk demanding service and not respecting staff.
I have mental health issues and was treated as a common criminal by this shop DO NOT USE WESTERN UNION AT THIS SHOP OR BE IT ON YOUR PERIL. The have no Idea and are acting in contrive tion to western union rules. Go to 1st for cash new street. They are rude obnoxious a d frankly sickening. If I could give zero star I would have. Much metta update your attitude and training this might help you losing the option to have western union logo or being paid by them.
Absolutely incompetent. Have sent Western Union all over the world from Hong Kong to Africa with zero problems. These fools refused to issue money because I didnt enter the receivers middle name which is clearly stated as OPTIONAL on the form and on the app. When I phoned to complain the woman was really rude and hung up! AVOID AVOID AVOID
