The rudenes of the reception staff just lately here is disgusting. We rang to order the prescription to stop us making a visit to A&E and was spoken to like utter dirt and told I can only make a request. They need to get themselves some better staff with better phone matters

Was told I would get a telephone consultation on a day that I had night shifts, not given the option to book a day earlier, they specifically told me it would be at 9:30 in the morning. They didn’t call until 11:15 (they claimed the time was a miscommunication) and unfortunately I just missed the call, instead of attempting a second call I was given the message to rebook even though I called back immediately to ask to be connected. Being a doctor myself, I know DNAs are normally registered on the system until at least three attempts are made at a call, not a single attempt, can see why so many patients end up in A&E when they can’t see their GP. Gutted and angry at the waste of time and loss of sleep over this.

From my experience, I would say that it's complicated to get a same-day appointment; the person you speak to on the phone would do her best to get rid of you. It's nearly impossible to book a routine check-up unless you don't mind waiting for a month or more. Doctors are good, but Some of the reception staff are rude.

Reception don't book in patients, you have to do it online. Doctors don't want to see patients, you're lucky if someone call you back. Nurses don't do blood checks-you're sent elsewhere. Online requests are designed in a way that halfway filling it you lose will to live. What's the point of this place existing??

I had a telephone consultation with someone who promised to get back to me, but three days later they still had not contacted me. When I telephoned them the staff had very little interest and fobbed me off. This surgery has been run down over the years, from 9 members of staff when I joined 23 years ago to 2 or maybe 3 now.
