Thornton Lodge Surgery

One of the worst services with this surgery. Had to put two complaints which will take 40 days before they get back to me. Shabnam the receptionist asking me why I called when she confirmed after it was written on the system doctor wanted me to book an appointment. Just to get me of the call she goes I can put a complaint through. Dr Munazza wrote medication for heat burn when I need medication for cough and further treatment. Shocked and disgusted on the services. When calling through, I be 1st in the queue for 20 minutes.

Very bad surgery. People now ill bt they gave appointment 3 week later they Don't bother .every one is rude.

It’s no surprise this surgery is rated so poorly. I was booked in for some important tests here, only to be told on arrival that they don’t even carry out those tests at this location. I explained that I had carefully planned my day around this appointment—including arranging childcare—only to be met with a dismissive response. The receptionist simply said she didn’t book the appointment, adopting a “not my fault, not my problem” attitude. She mentioned she had attempted to call me just 20 minutes before the appointment to let me know. I missed the call and tried to ring back multiple times, but because it was the weekend, the line was disconnected and my calls wouldn’t go through. She left no voicemail or alternative method of contact, leaving me completely unaware that the appointment was pointless. There was absolutely no acknowledgment or apology for the inconvenience caused. It was clear that the disruption to my day, the time I’d taken off, and the effort it took to attend meant nothing to them. This is not only an inconvenience for patients, but it’s also a waste of NHS resources at a time when the NHS is already struggling to cope with demand. Extremely poor communication, complete lack of accountability, and zero empathy.

Has to be one of the worst doctors surgeries in Huddersfield. Very rude workers who have zero customer service skills. Best avoid.

unqualified arrogant people deny without batting an eye, for example that the system is faulty and that's why they sent the appointment to the wrong phone number or they just assumed that my partner and my daughter both have a hereditary heart condition, we explained it to them but they don't want to take it seriously, we had a nervous breakdown and they were the ones who were mostly to blame for this, I don't even understand how people who don't have a degree can work here in England, but the Meltham Road GP is such a disgrace to the English Medical Association!!!!!😡😡😡
