Avoid this charging point unless you are desperate. Not well signposted, difficult to find and even more difficult to access. The chargers are placed at an awkward angle making it very difficult to connect. The charging is very expensive ! After reading the reviews now I have realised that I had to pay for parking! This is not obvious at the location. Not a good experience at all
DO NOT USE!! #Update# Since posting an honest review of the Instavolt charging point in Huddersfield town centre, Instavolt have blocked my car on all of the Instavolt points, I even attempted using them in France and Spain when I drove recently. Is it company policy to be blocked.? Never reached the premium rate speed charging despite battery being at optimum temperature. And at the charge point, apparently they also require payment for the private land too . Do not use it in Huddersfield!!! Allego is the fastest in Huddersfield, Venn Street, although Osprey at Mirfield Garden Centre is the best for costs, 7pm - 11pm 20% off charging.
This place is a complete scam—stay away! It’s not free parking to use EV charging stations, They will keep sending you parking ticket notices even after you appeal. They won’t respond to the appeal and will keep sending tickets repeatedly. And the charging speed is also not as mentioned.

Horrible parking meter didn't let me put in full number plate and I have a horrible feeling I'm going to get a parking charge notice as a consequence. Instructions on outside of charger don't match order of on screen instructions. App failed had to use card, took an age to connect to car. Charged at 63KW for about 30 secs before falling back to 50KW on ioniq 5..... As predicted fine now arrived also within seconds of posting charge fell to to around 30KW. Will never ever use this brand or site again, or for that matter shop at Iceland where it was situated either. Avoid like the plague.
