Absolute props to the staff. I made a bit of an odd request just for someone to style and plait my hair before a night out. When I explained I was autistic and had a lot of sensitivity to strangers touching me and my hair, the stylist Jemma was really understanding. Everyone was lovely and I'll definitely go back. Would recommend the attitude of staff to anyone neurodivergent.

Always a pleasure to get my hair done here. Gemma is my personal hairdresser and she listens, gives good advice and cuts my longish thick hair really well but the whole team are so personable and friendly too. Great place to get your hair done.

Even in lockdown with diminished availability for appointments this salon is the best fun I have had since March. Gemma is an amazing stylist and Andrew is always good for decent conversation. Cannot recommend this place often enough. My friends and family are starting to attend. What else do you want to know??? Give it a go, you will not be disappointed

Friendly salon with highly experienced staff. Gemma did a fantastic job with matching my natural hair colour and I left with an immaculately cut long bob. I didn't feel at all rushed during my visit which can often be the case in some salons, Gemma took the time to listen to my hair queries and ideas then worked her magic. The salon staff were recommended to me by a family member and I was pleasantly surprised by how highly skilled and humble they were. The refinery is an example of a salon that values client experience over a fancy facade of an exterior. I highly recommend a visit.

Great place for a hair cut . Andrew my hair dresser is a lovely guy. He is always pleasant. Best hair dresser I've ever had. Lovely staff nice saloon . Would recommend to anyone. Mick
