Fartown Dry Cleaners

Fartown Dry Cleaners is a business that has been in existence for a very long time, at least since my school days. It is a public laundry and a dry cleaners. The laundry is clean and tidy with a hot drinks machine, has plenty of top and side loading washing machines and driers. If you don't have the time you can leave your laundry with the staff who will wash dry and iron at a cost. The dry cleaning facility cleans everything from cloths to quilts and curtains. The scale of charges are available from the staff. The adjoining car park belongs to the business and allows free parking. The service is of good quality.

Returning a new washer/dryer at home, so pooped in to do some laundry, but will never do so again !! There were 2 staff working on 16th September 2025. One in particular (slight build & tattooed) was incredibly abrupt ,rude & you would probably receive a better reception from an angry lion if you tried to kill it's cub. The staff I mentioned previously grabbed the empty bags next to me that I brought my laundry in & angrily uttered " you taken my bag" ? Obviously then realising,I hadn't and could barely bring herself to apologise !🤨🤨! This experience will ensure that I will never spend another penny in there again The staff on duty with the tattoo's was particularly obnoxious & I wouldn't even give her a job cleaning pig excrement on her own, on a pig farm !! No excuse for rudeness & especially when your dealing with customers/members of the public who are spending their hard earned cash in your establishment !! I had previously had positive experiences when using this laundrette in the past, when our machine had broken down. The staff were always polite, friendly & professional. If I was the owner, Id be bringing them back because unlike the one I had the misfortune of ecountering, they clearly were in the que when god was giving out manners !!

Just been to Fartown laundrette didn’t have a clue what I was doing Michelle who works there help me. She was absolutely fantastic so helpful, friendly and kind you don’t want to lose her she is a little diamond.

DO NOT CLEAN LEATHER GARMENTS. Even though the website has prices for speciality items such as leather I travelled 40 miles with my wife's leather dress only to be told that the machine broke down 2 years ago. Staff were friendly enough and told me that they did not have control of the website anymore...Just thought I would give anyone checking for this service like I was a heads up.

Had some bridesmaid dress press only ,excellent service and price .The only thing was I didn't have to pay up front .Took 2 3 piece suits in a couple of days later and was told had to pay up front .There is nothing on the counter or anywhere else stating this .
