I came here looking for a christmas party dress, having failed to find one in other shops nearby. The lady working there was reallty friendly, i didnt feel pressured when i was looking around like you do in some other shops. She offered to get me a different size if the one i was trying on didnt fit. Found the perfect dress and wore it to the christmas party, it was very comfortable and i had loads of compliments! Very happy and would shop here again!

Good quality clothing. My wife loves to visit. Staff are both friendly and helpful.

Wow, what a lovely shop.I called in today for the first time, having seen a gorgeous outfit on a mannequin in the window. The Lovely ladies in the shop found the outfit in the store and even undress the mannequins so I could try on the top in my size. They were so lovely, providing genuine feedback on how the outfit looked on me. I ended up buying two outfits and a matching jacket and I’m over the moon with them. I usually Shop online as I don’t really like shopping in store, but this was such a positive experience that I will definitely return in the future. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. 😊

I just wanted to say a big thank you to one of the assistants today. I struggle to find clothes having a disability, but today the lovely assistant found 6 or 7 tops in my sizes which normally I can only get online, she kindly put them in a changing room while I went to find my husband to help me try them on. I was over joyed, as I bought 5 of the tops all at a real bargain price. THANK YOU you made my day!!

I'm writing this on behalf of my Grandad who is 83 and my Grandma who is 85 and wheelchair bound. They live in Huddersfield and told me what happened to them recently, they do not have a Google account. So about 6 weeks ago (September 23) they made the trip into Huddersfield town centre to specifically visit Roman to buy an item of clothing for a family party. On arriving at 9 AM the shop was shut and no one was inside, as this was a weekday they thought it was slightly odd but decided to go for a coffee and go back later. At 9-45 it was still shut, so they waited outside, thinking the arrival of a member o staff was imminent. By 10-30, my grandma was complaining of leg pains , so they reluctantly decided to call it a day and went home, very disappointed. Bearing in mind their ages and the struggle they endured with wheelchairs and parking etc they thought before they go next time they should call ahead. A few days later they eventually got through to the shop and spoke to a lady who said she was acting for the manager, who told them that a member of staff called Julie had forgotten to go in that day and they didn't open till lunchtime, and she joked maybe they should have waited around a few more hours. I am disgusted by the whole episode and not once did anyone apologise for the all the trouble they had gone to that day, especially at their age and with a wheelchair. I've told them not to bother again.
