Extremely disappointed to have driven for almost an hour to come and visit this place. Got here before the stated closing time of 5pm (20 mins before), to find it with the shutters down and door locked. Their website says they close at 5pm, Google states they close at 5pm, the sign on the door states they close at 5pm. Clearly someone couldn't be bothered working their full shift so they clocked off early. Well, they've lost a customer and what would've been a definite sale.

I don’t normally post reviews but I could not help but share what a brilliant experience my partner and I had today at hearth and home in Huddersfield. We visited the show room to purchase a bio ethanol stove, from start to finish Simon was beyond helpful. He explained everything and was extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, I’ve never had an easier shopping experience. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. 10/10.

Fantastic service, the staff were really helpful. I ordered a log burner style bioethanol fire that is ideal for my room. The model I wanted had to be ordered in but they kept me informed of its progress and this arrived swiftly. Would definitely recommend.

I recently took my elderly father to buy a replacement electric fire after his had stopped working. We were able to purchase a replacement immediately at a very reasonable price. Andrew (?) was extremely helpful. He also suggested that we bring the broken one back just in case it could be repaired. I did so the following morning. I received a phone call less than two hours later to inform me that the fire had been repaired and was ready to collect...and because it was fairly straightforward there would be no charge. You so rarely receive this type of outstanding customer service these days that it is only right that when you do so it is recognised. Thank you so much.

I asked for a price on a item that they manufacture and was quoted £2195 plus £60 delivery and told they would beat any price on the same item. I found the same item at homebase for £1529 including delivery when I showed them the price I was re quoted £1699 plus £60 delivery 🤔. Very poor service. Update.. I didn't go anywhere else, I'm still shopping around. This is a product you produce at aurora marble where I worked for some time as this is a product you produce at a cost of around £500 as i bought 1 when i worked at aurora. I would expect the best price to come from yourselves and not homebase. If you can't beat the price then don't say you will. Which it also states on your own web page plus an extra £30.
