*EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNER*- You have failed to highlight the actual points of conversation that were made. The comments I state in my review were word for word what was said. They ARE racist, and disgusting. I'll refer once again to a number of your other 1 star reviews where people have experienced similar to me - so have we all "gotten the wrong end of the stick"? If that is your attempt to cover up blatant racism then it's a very poor one, although given the level of intelligence within the conversation I heard yesterday, I can't say I'm surprised. I am truly appalled by my experience at Kirklees Guns today. While in the shop, I overheard two of the shop owners openly engaging in a racist discussion about immigration with another customer. Statements such as “these people aren’t fleeing war zones,” “they’re only coming here for economic gain,” and comments about British people deserving more rights were made casually and without any attempt at discretion. This was not a political debate — it was dehumanising, racist rhetoric being spoken openly by business owners. To hear this kind of narrative discussed in a gun shop of all places is deeply alarming. A business that sells firearms has a responsibility to maintain professionalism, neutrality, and safety. Openly promoting racist views in that environment is not just inappropriate, it is irresponsible. This incident also reflects a broader pattern. Every time I have visited, I have felt unwelcome and uncomfortable, particularly as a woman. There is a clear atmosphere of judgement and gatekeeping, and I echo a previous review which stated that it feels as though women or those without in-depth knowledge of firearms could be taken advantage of. The attitude is dismissive at best and hostile at worst. Racism has no place anywhere, certainly not in any business, and absolutely not one dealing in weapons. I would rather travel miles out of my way than support a shop that demonstrates, allows, or encourages this behaviour. I will not be returning and would strongly advise others to think twice before giving them their custom.

Great, friendly shop. Called in to buy a couple of air rifles for me and my daughters. Chap who served me was really helpful and took his time to explain stuff. Would highly recommended.

Got my KRAL np02 from here. My first ever rifle for ratting. It's a great piece of kit and does the job extremely well. Looking at getting the Snowpeak ap900b Think this will be more suitable for ratting 🐀👍 MARIA 💚 @Fatratter

Great gun shop always friendly and good advice, it's my go to air rifle shop. They have always got a good range of accessories at a good price worth travelling to.

Very friendly, happy to advise and help any way they can. I spoke with George and he was very knowledgeable and had plenty of time for me. Didn't t feel rushed and his advise saved me a fortune. Very good customer service. Very helpful. Would highly recommend.
