Killing time in Huddersfield - chanced a google search for cigar shops without much hope but amid the detritus of vape shops was this absolute gem! Along with the eclectic mix of hardware and knives was to my surprise a lovely selection of cigars in the walk in humidor. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable service. Prices a quid or two cheaper than online vendors. Will stop again if I’m ever back in Huddersfield.

My grandfather bought pipe tobacco here in the 50s, my dad bought his cigars from here in the 60s/70s, I bought my first bricklaying trowel here in 1984 and I've recently taken up pipe smoking so the natural place to buy tobacco from is here. As I live on the outskirts of Huddersfield I can order it at night online and it's hand delivered the morning after. This kind of service is exactly why this business has been trading for over 150 years.

I called into the shop personally last week looking for a good quality kitchen knife and sharpener and was able to secure both at the price point I wanted. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful which added to the experience. Very satisfied.
