What's happened? I loved to buy here: helpful staff, ready to engage, and advise. And on my recent visit, the complete opposite. Unwilling, unsmiling, unhelpful. Back to B & Q, then!

Great service today. Once I'd managed to illustrate what I was trying to repair, sold me suitable parts with guidance on how to best do it, and saved me the best part of £100!.

Thank you Nick for your help this morning in leveling my sport wheelchair wheels with M12 flat washers. It has saved me spending a lot of money on new front casters. Will definitely recommend Danlett to friends and family and will come again if my wheelchair needs replacement washers, nuts or blots. 5 star service, helpful staff and a safe accessible place to park my car.

Needed a pretty obscure nut for the hardware on an old dresser, directed here by the local DIY store who didn't have it. Staff were friendly, helpful and quickly found the part, would definitely use again.

Earlier review I gave was 5* but on my last visit I was astounded to find out that they no longer take cash payments and the minimum spend on card is £10. I've recommended Danlett many times before but not now. If you're not going to accept cash then the minimum spend should be removed, I would also think that it's against the card networks merchant rules too. Certainly won't be returning.
