The owner behaves in a typical rude Caribbean manner. From the moment you touch the fruit or avocados, he starts shouting, "dog squeeze it nah". He's also very unwelcoming, just staring at all when they enter. It's a shame as I used to like shopping there in the early days. Now I buy my afro Caribbean produce either at the veg stall in Huddersfield market or at Urah, the biggest and best foreign foods store in Huddersfield

I have been coming here since I first lived in the UK. All the staff are kind and make an effort. The price is so much cheaper than a supermarket and the food is good quality Caribbean food. You can also get foods like ackee fruits that you wouldn't normally find in the UK. Thank you to everyone who works here

A great shop to get everything you could possibly need for your Caribbean cooking along with a whole lot more. Staff are really helpful & I can finally source goat for my one pot!
