Taking children to Soft Play? This is not a venue for the sole use of children. Parents and Guardians of young children should be made aware that it is possible for adults to enter Playworld - without accompanying a child. Adults can enter alone. There are no extra security measures - such as barriers or check points in place to prevent adults from accessing the soft play facility. CCTV operates in the building - but does not cover all floors of the soft play. Playworld management have stated that they are not a "Childcare Facility" and it is "Parents responsibility to supervise their children throughout their visit". I am informed that staff make "regular checks" and are "trained to identify suspicious persons". However, if you would like to guarantee the safety of your children, know that you must accompany them throughout the soft play - as it is entirely possible for an adult to gain entry, bypass the skate ring and walk directly into soft play and gain access to hidden and concealed areas. The local authorities have informed me no legal guidelines are being breeched here. Alcohol is served on the premises.
Came in today, when we arrived the receptionist was on the phone but made us her priority straight away. She was very warm and made us feel very welcomed. Helped us out with skate. When ordering food the blonde girl who handed it to us went and got sauces as we had forgotten them. Overall, 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back again!
Nice place, lots for Children of all ages, nice food. Comfortable seating. Big enough for several parties to take place at once. Timed venue for birthdays, a little disappointed on the staff requiring more training on service and their system. Also its not good if they open 10 to 15 minutes late on your booking. Staff should be in place, making sure all is in place for their first booking Times. Suggest a 30min to 1hr preparation time and open then on time at 10.00am.. Otherwise, all was good for the age group babies to 12 yrs old..
NOT safe for small children this is just half of it most toys etc broken and unsafe I took my 10 month into the under 5 year old area and had to pull him away from most of the stuff what upset him as when he first got there was so excited to play some where new definitely should avoid with small children
I visited Playworld Huddersfield with my young child, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The play gym was far too crowded - at one point it actually felt unsafe, and it seemed like there was little staff supervision despite all the chaos. Some of the toys were in really poor condition, with missing or broken pieces, and my child lost interest fast because half the equipment didn’t even work. When I politely raised this with a staff member, I was met with a dismissive attitude and no apology. For the price, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and customer service. Sadly, I won’t be returning or recommending it to anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable play area for their kids.
