Play gym is as expected, grubby and minimally maintained. The area though backs right onto indoor football pitches, so you're constantly subjected to insanely loud bangs as the footballs are blasted full pelt into the wooden boards that border the playgym seating area. Also the shouting from the football fields is vulgar, disrespectful, and obnoxious in volume. This is not an appropriate environment for young children, or self respecting adults to be honest.

The service here is diabolical. The kids running it don’t seem to care at all. Took about 30 mins for a toasted current tea cake to arrive. The staff really just cannot be bothered and it shows. Toilets are grim too. No facilities for disabled kids and £20 to use the sensory room…won’t be returning

Do not recommend having your child's birthday here. Poor communication, no one answers the phone or emails back. Items have gone missing. Cake decorations not even used and never received back. They was no one there upon arrival we was waiting ages. Didn't get an hour on the pitch due to the poor communication, the next group of grown men was walking onto the pitch with kids still on, the party didn't even start at 11. Children's cups have bite marks on them. Definitely not worth the price, I could go on but let's leave it there!

Visited the play gym this morning with external temperatures in the minuses. Inside the building was freezing, no heating on. Children were shivering. We asked the staff if the heating could be turned on. Which they said they weren't able to do due to only management controlling the heating system. Multiple other parents all commented on the temperatures inside the building and how it's spoiled their experience. Also the electric gate that allows visitors in and out wasn't working allowing a lot of children to run in and out with ease. Making the whole experience quite stressful constantly keeping an eye on the gate to ensure my young 2 year old didn't go near it. For a venue that caters to young children, the bare minimum you expect is a warm safe environment.

I came because a charity I’m part of was running an event there, the event the charity run was perfect. But The Zone is absolutely disgusting, the soft play is sticky and dirty. The toilets are vile. The tables and chairs in the seating area are sticky and awful. I’ll never return.
