This time last year I was going through one of the hardest and all time lowest times in my life. I was homeless and for 3 weeks I slept rough under the arches down the side of Sainsbury's which didn't know it at the time but that is the only thing that I cherish because without being in that situation I have never had the opportunity of having the pleasure of getting to know the large majority the boating community. at that time I never anticipated just how crucial getting to know everybody on the marina allowed me to get to the place I am now. them three weeks spent sleeping under them arches I've got me to where I am now which just so happens to be living on board a boat becoming part of that wonderful community
I love the place, perfect for me selfie 🤳 lol, lovely young lad serving us thank you 🙏🏽 fish and chips are yummy. Come and visit this pubresto along the canal and enjoy everything you ee .
Wanted to try the restaurant but it was closed. However the scenery was lovely.
Food and service great. Especially the lady on breakfast she was exceptional and helpful. Great place to go
Ambience was good, warm and staff were friendly. Food was quite good. I stayed at the hotel on property for 3 weeks and had a breakfast plan. Continental breakfast was good. Wide variety. Also had dinner here most days. A bit pricey if you're on a low budget or if you have a family, but you do get value for money. Matina nearby is pleasant to sit and look out.
