What's not to love? Woods, fields, duck pond, perfect for a tootle round with my dog. Bottom field gets way boggy in bad weather. Deffo put your wellies on.
What a hidden gem this is. Came upon it by chance when cycling on the MTB. It’s well worth a visit. You can get to it off Heaton Bank (steps) Heaton Gardens (ride and walk) Two locations off Gledholt Bank (ride and walk) It’s real peaceful and makes you feel like your miles from anywhere.
Great place to walk alone or with a fury companion, would definitely recommend!
The pond is crap fishing as to meany dog walkers think it's fine to let the dogs in the pond as it's only a small pond aswell
Great place to walk a dog. Lots of interesting wildlife and the scenery is beautiful. But could prove challenging to the unfit or unsteady (like me) especially when muddy. But I would definitely recommend this place.
