what a lovely surprise this was, have driven by this garden centre thinking there wasn't much to it and wow, how wrong was I, so impressive, the centre it self was large with lots to see, the cafe was lovely and clean and what I loved is they had a smaller size menu for us who don't have big appetites (which you don't often get) but was still wholesome. there's plenty of parking so yes, I've definitely found my new favourite place so thumbs up👍xx
Garden centre lovely. Cafe was good with reasonable prices but the service was awful. Not enough staff. Food took ages to arrive and tables slow to be cleared
Appaulling service. We went for lunch to be informed, they are not doing any toasties , as only have 1 chef. However, they are doing cooked meals, sandwiches, salads, breakfasts, toasted tead cakes etc! There was no signs up, stating this and we queued for over an hour! Please go elsewhere, where you get a far better service
We called for a look around like we do every time we are in the area, I was with my family and have problems with walking, so instead off getting my walker out i used a trolley, we was sat in the cafe having a drink and a very rude man moved my trolley, my dad went to get it back and tried to explain to the man but he wasn't interested. We definitely won't be going back as they have no respect for disabled people and also to find out he was the manager.
Popped in here for a bite to eat on heading back home. Not the best of food to be honest, my husband had a sausage ciabatta but the sausage was awful, skins were inedible. Dog seating area, but not very big, in fact only 3 tables. And if someone sits there without a dog, then they are taking up a space for people with dogs which did happen. Shame it wasn't slightly bigger area.
