Little Wold Vineyard
About
Description
Little Wold Vineyard, nestled in the Yorkshire Wolds, boasting gorgeous panoramic views down to the Humber. Our vineyard was planted in spring 2012 with 1000 white vines. A further 500 red vines planted in spring 2013 and 500 more white vines were planted in spring 2015. Our first wine was produced in 2017. Barley Hill White (our white wine) and Poppy Hill Rose (our Rose wine) have gone down a storm with our customers and already bagged us TWO BRONZE medals in their first wine competition. We look forward to receiving our sparkling wine towards the end of 2017/beginning of 2018.
On our tours you will hear about the history of the farm and what made owner HB Wilson decide to go into grape growing. You will then have the chance to have a look at the vines up close, see the different varieties we grow on the farm. To finish off you will be given the opportunity to taste the wine (and buy a bottle if you fancy).
