Smyths Toys Superstores Hull

We love this place, if you ask my grandson where he wants to go after nursery he will say TOY SHOP. He loves going to Smyth's as he can check out the toys and try them and see what he likes without the staff moaning. He can try the games, little race tracks on entry , bikes etc and if charged up he can ride the electric cars . They don't mind you getting toys down to play with and try them for size . Great assortment of Toys, baby equipment, cots, prams , bikes, video games . Something for everyone. It's great having toilets too so my grandson can nip in the loo if needed. X

We purchased a 3-in-1 travel system from this store last Saturday. At the till, the sales assistant brought out a box. We specifically asked if it included the car seat that comes with the travel system, and were assured that it did. When we got home and checked the following day, we found that the box only contained the pushchair, not the car seat. On calling the store, staff initially appeared doubtful and asked us to bring the entire system back so they could check it themselves. Subsequently, we received a call back admitting that it was indeed a "mess up" on their part, and were told we could collect the car seat with just the receipt. Later, when we returned to collect it, I had to have words with the individual at the till while double-checking the car seat they brought out (given the earlier error on their part), before finally hearing a brief apology. The whole experience caused us considerable inconvenience, unnecessary stress, and wasted time and fuel.

Came in to collect a click and collect for my daughter's bike and the man on the desk for C&C sure his name was Dan was so helpful! I was very unprepared with sorting my boot out for it and he was so patient and help me sort my car out to fit the bike box in, they was also another young man on the till as well who was also very helpful and kind! Greatly appreciative of them! Thank you

The staff were particularly helpful especially a chap in his thirties is say with a beard, he overhead me talking to my son about needing the toilet and he showed us where it was, whilst acknowledging another customer who asked for his assistance with something else. My son and daughter both had a lovely time choosing some new toys and I felt like my son could pick up and handle the toys without being told off by staff. Thank you for a lovely trip

I bought my grandaughter a 16in bike for her birthday today. I have to say, the young man who served me and built the bike is a credit to you. He was helpful, polite and even offered to place the bike into the car for me. It is so refreshing to go to a store and have great, helpful staff.
