This is a women charity formed in the 80s, to survive in modern times they had to expand into childcare. Yes the area's a little run down but it is what it is and majority of people using are from that area. It's not exactly Beverley Hills so anyone coming from posh end of Leeds or from another area in South Leeds might not appreciate on first look.
Asha has been around for over 40 years, In the early days there were only bengali women using the services , nice to see the multi cultural diversity
Excellent centre for ethnic minority women to get advice, learn English, computer skills and sewing, with a nursery and play scheme
1 of the staff is unhelpful , had to walk out to calm myself and in the end a friend(who needed help) whom i brought wasn't helped at all
Good community centre. Support's the local community.
