Stu and Marta are super friendly, and I absolutely loved their cosy corners upstairs. Great pints, even better food β highly recommend the beef dip! The riverside terrace is a real bonus. Next time Iβll check out the downstairs area and maybe use it as a workspace too.
Excellent little bar at the edge of town. The food was much better than I expected from a small bar - super fresh ingredients and well cooked. God selection of beers. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great downstairs area with a New York Loft vibe - with little nooks to sit in. Outside areas are hit and miss - the front is alongside a taxi rank and main road so is pretty busy. The back is beside the taxis and the river (which can be nice or can be smelly) and some bins. However, get a quiet period and they are relaxing areas to sit and enjoy a drink. Recommend for a meet up with friends or a quiet drink
I have been wanting to go here for months and now I've been I'm not disappointed. First impressions is I entered was the place was light and airy the atmosphere was perfect and a great hand pulled ale. Then things changed as we ordered food..... it was incredible. The yorkshire puddings with beef marrowbone gravy is a must, the Welsh rarebit is amazing and the sausage rolls and mustard nom nom. Then the main arrived which was a pepperoni pizza thingy with triple cooked chips, heaven on earth. I now need to lie down in a dark room to digest everything. Please go you will definitely not be disappointed.
Me and the gf finally got to enjoy this place and we were not disappointed! Lovely atmosphere and staff were super welcoming and friendly. Food was beautiful was out so quickly. Would love to see more options on the menu in the future. The two boxers are so friendly and cute, looking forward to bring my little pup here Boardgames and pool downstairs even more amazing
Our first time in this establishment. Called in for a beer and ended up having Sunday lunch. The service, the food - everything was brilliant. We will be back. Thank you
