Called in at dinner on a Sunday and luckily a couple were leaving as we entered and we sat down. We were told we could have food at that table as the dining area was full. We ordered two Sunday roasts and a couple of drinks. It was very busy but after a bit of a wait it was served and with a right big bugger of a Yorkshire pudding and a lot of tender roast beef.

Visited the lamb and flag this evening with my friends after work for a meal. We all had various dishes. I Had the scallop starter and the the Venison. Not a long wait time, the staff are really polite, friendly and accomodating. The main meal, Venison with rustic veg was absolutely lovely. This pub is an absolutely hidden gem. All the other dishes that my friends ordered, went down well. The meals are well portioned with no complaints from my table. The selfish me didnt want to put up a post. As it then might become to pupular. But credit where its due. I dont really rate anything really. But this place overall is worth a visit if dining out. Thankyou Lamb and Flag.

Dropped in after a shopping trip to Leeds. Parking was easy by the Parish Church. Charming old brick pub with a useful size outdoor area with heaters. The staff were very helpful and after a short wait we were taken to a table upstairs. Great lighting and decor, warm, clean and cosy. Food was amazing, wife had the lamb shoulder Sunday roast and I had the steak pie. Good sized portions, neither of us left hungry. We'd definately be back!

This pub-restaurant is surprisingly big with a large seating area upstairs as well as a beer garden. The menu is not large but is suitably varied nonetheless. We went on a Sunday and, whilst there was a Sunday roast option there were also a number of other choices. Service was efficient. No hassle whilst we were there about staying and stretching out the meal. A relaxing place to eat and would be good for a family group.
