Honestly, I’m starting to believe Leeds has some of the best food around. Based on my experience with pizzas, I have to say Mortys really do offer a slice of heaven. Both slices of pizza tried were perfectly cooked, but the real star for me was the Focaccia base. It was incredibly soft and crispy at the same time, a perfect balance. The flavors on top were excellent too, making every bite a real treat. The only downside was that, being part of a food hall, I didn’t get to meet or speak to the Mortys staff directly. It would have been nice to talk to someone who really knows the product, as the food hall staff weren’t familiar with what they were serving. Even so, if you’re in Leeds and love pizza, Mortys is definitely worth a visit.
Incredible foccacia pizza, crispy crust, soft and fluffy inside. Amazing toppings! Great sandwich bread.
August Bank Holiday coffee and brownies at Morty's in newly opened White Cloth Hall. Friendly service, although had to repeat and correct my order a couple of times. Brownies and coffee delicious, although coffee served tepid, which let it down a little. May be teething issues, as just new. Great atmosphere. Will be back
Enjoyed my MVP slice! I think it could use a little spice or salt component. But the focaccia 👌🏻
Really great Sicilian pizza/focaccia slices, plus the fried gnocchi were insanely good and a new experience. The tomato sauce on the plain "grandma" pizza was divine. Forgot to take pictures and I'm sure more people will post and they'll come to do it justice, but give White Cloth Hall and these guys especially a go and you won't regret it.
