Had the afternoon tea brunch at Nesso Leeds with my son and it was such a lovely experience. The scones were incredibly fresh and absolutely lovely, easily one of the highlights for me. Everything was beautifully presented. The staff were warm and welcoming, great with kids, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet stylish perfect for a mum-and-child date. Such a gorgeous spot for afternoon tea and brunch. We’ll definitely be back 🤍
Had a lovely evening at Nesso in the City Centre. I will definitely be back to try their focaccia which people in other reviews have enjoyed! The food was really reasonably priced for such a central location - the amazing french toast is £8. The open faced sandwich was so good. It’s a lovely vibe in there - like another review said it’s great somewhere like this has opened in Leeds, as someone who works full time it’s nice to have somewhere like this to go after work. Definitely recommend!
Tried their baked focaccia and it was soft, full of flavour Love the interior as well and staff was super friendly. Fantastic new cafe, which is open till late. Leeds needed a place like that!
Totally disappointing visit. An insult to italians. I was so excited to try here after seeing the pictures and hype over at the Morley store... You walk in and sit yourself down then order at the till. I think that would be fair in a small cafe/fast food restaurant but I don't believe Nesso falls into this category? It's weird that there is no service or welcoming staff member. The coffee was served looking like dish water and wasn't very nice. The Maritozzi was enjoyable, thick cream and a fresh bun. I'm not sure why it was half-covered in squirty bottle biscoff as it doesn't say so on the menu. The Baked falafel was daylight robbery.. I like how it was served in an oven dish to keep it hot but it was an extremely small portion for £10. The pitta was clearly defrosted and the base was tinned tomato rather than fresh. I don't like to waste food and for £10 I forced it down. Honestly it was terrible, you'd be served better at the hospital. To be honest, this place is a complete insult to Italians and the Italy culture. I do not recommend and I certainly won't be back. Good luck to your establishment.
Food was alright, the dynamite chicken & cheese bake tasted mostly like bbq sauce, antipasti salad could do with some cheese, overall pretty good value, coffee was nice
