I’ve bought milk tea from this store twice recently, and both times the tapioca pearls were noticeably undercooked. I ordered a chocolate milk tea at 7:23 PM today. Unfortunately, I only realized during the movie that many of the pearls were undercooked — some were even difficult to chew through. Since I was inside the cinema, I couldn’t take photos of the half-cooked pearls I tried to eat, and I had no way to spit them out discreetly. They were soft on the outside but still hard in the center — clearly not cooked through. And it wasn’t just one or two pearls by chance — there were several in each drink, consistently half-cooked and unpleasant to chew. On top of that, I also found a strange piece of material in one of the drinks. I’m not sure what it was or how it got there, but I’m certain it didn’t belong in the cup. I’ve had milk tea from many different brands over the years, and usually I enjoy it a lot — but these two recent visits were especially disappointing. I just found another undercooked pearl — the third to last one in the cup. It was clearly uncooked in the center, though not easy to see due to the chocolate base. But when you bite into it, the difference is obvious. The outside is soft, but the inside is hard and difficult to bite through. This only confirms what I said earlier: the issue isn’t occasional — it’s throughout the drink. Consistent, careless preparation.
I absolutely love getting Fruit tea with Tapioca and extra Booba and I love how everyone always has very vibrant colored hair or tattoos. They are all so polite and always ask about your allergies. . Absolutely Darling Service.
Very nice and friendly staff. The manager Callum helped me picked a very nice drink as I'm not familiar with bubble tea and I ended up loving it. The customer service was helpful and efficient. 10/10
I’ve been a regular customer at Bubbleology for a long time, and bubble tea is one of my favorite things. However, I had an extremely disappointing experience at your Leeds location. The staff there were incredibly rude and unprofessional, and their behavior felt racially biased. When I placed my order, the woman with piercings who took it was particularly unpleasant. I asked for a brown sugar drink with no ice, but I was given one with 70% ice, which was far too cold for me. Unfortunately, I was in a rush and had no choice but to drink it. While my order was being prepared, I noticed the staff—two white men and the woman with piercings—looking at me, laughing, and giggling. I couldn’t help but feel they were talking about me. To make matters worse, when my drink was ready, they didn’t even bother calling out my order, and I stood waiting, unaware that it was already prepared. I urge Bubbleology to address this type of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I won’t be returning to this location, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to others.
I ordered a dragon fruit bubble tea from Bubbleology (Leeds Trinity), but it was really disappointing. The drink tasted more like peach tea, with no hint of dragon fruit at all. It also looked completely off—the colour was golden like regular iced tea, not the vibrant pink you’d expect from dragon fruit. Honestly felt like I got a different drink altogether. Not worth it.
