Our actual dentist is spot on. She takes time to explain procedures, is gentle and considerate. Can't fault her one little bit. It's the practice in general that has a problem. This was the fourth time we'd tried to be seen. Three appointments had been cancelled by the surgery, but it was us getting the "if you don't attend you'll be taken from our books" message. Try ringing them, you're 6 in que, 5 in que until you get to 2 then it cuts you off telling you to leave a message. You get put through to voicemail only to be told that the voicemail is full and to try again later. Their website gives opening times, what it doesn't say is they close for lunch. Something I found out when I drove down to let them know that my wife was poorly and couldn't attend her appointment. Oh yes, additional. The email they sent asking for us to fill out medical details, well the link don't work either and when you try to report it..........well see above!

I have used this surgery for many years the past few have been sketchy and unacceptably unreliable with cancelled appointments and lost records to name but 2. HOWEVER!!! This morning I saw a new dentist known as Jay....she is the most thorough, professional, caring and empathetic dentist I have ever seen (I'm late 60s in age so I've seen a few) after a comprehensive examination we agreed a course of treatments with possible avenues of change to fully formulate an agreed treatment plan....no actual work done on my teeth yet but after today's visit my hopes are high and my confidence even higher.

One of the best dental experiences to date. my dentist was fantastic, explaining all the steps in the treatment in detail putting me at ease. His attention to detail in matching the fillings to my existing teeth was exceptional. It took longer than planned but the outcome was worth it. There is more work to be done but I have no apprehensions. I am in safe hands

When I am able to get to an appointment I don’t have any issues with the dentist I see/ But trying to actually get hold of someone is impossible. I attended my appointment today however it had been cancelled as the dentist I was due to see had left. No one had contacted me to let me know. Thankfully it did give me an opportunity to actually speak to someone and book an appointment as your contact systems are abysmal. You call, you are prompted to leave a message - if you opt into that, you’re told the message box is full. If by a miracle you are able to leave a message, no one gets back to you anyway. You call back. You wait for 17 minutes and you’re cut off. You’re encouraged to book online… ok let’s give that a go, oh no, you can only book a private appointment, not an NHS one. You contact via the online form, you’re ignored. I have no idea who looks after the IVR (call system) or your websites, but whoever it is, they’re costing you a lot of money. I have had several cancelled appointments due to dentists leaving the practise too… this many dentists in such a short space of time should also be an indicator that something is very wrong.

Highly incompetent, turned up for a 3rd appointment after 2 had been previously cancelled at short notice with seemingly no explanation. Appointment was scheduled for 2 o’clock only for me to learn the surgery didn’t open until bang on 2pm, around 10-15 people in front of me at the waiting room due to the late opening time, abandoned the appointment at 2:30 due to waiting around for half an hour with very little information. Will not be returning and will be seeking a new surgery.
