Tyre Renewal, superb experience all round. Great price on an offer, backed by a really helpful and hardworking service team in the Tyre Dept at Costco Leeds. I would especially highlight Simon and Thomas, full of enthusiasm and good advice, diligent way beyond what I’ve experienced elsewhere, and a credit to the company. Easy to recommend this lot!
I’d been wanting a new sofa for my main room for ages but could never quite commit, even after visiting places like DFS and Furniture Village in Birstall. Then my mum showed me a sofa from Costco, and after reading the great reviews, I decided to take the plunge and order it — without even seeing it in person! The delivery team were brilliant — they unpacked and assembled everything quickly and smoothly. And the sofa itself is absolutely gorgeous — super comfy and amazing quality. I’m so glad I went for it. Highly recommend Costco sofas! We ordered the Coddle Aria Grey Fabric Convertible Sofa Bed with Chaise.
A huge shopping warehouse. It’s not for me, but plenty of people love this place. It’s always packed. The shopping trolleys are huge. There seems to be no method in the madness of shopping here. If there’s a system I’m yet to figure it out. There seems to be shopping crap everywhere. Clothes to sweets, to toilet roll. If you’re looking for something bizarre you can probably find it here. Everything seems to be sold in bulk…. Who needs to buy a zillion cooked muffins?? At the minute there are loads of Halloween gifts in store, some of these things are bigger than a lot of people’s houses. There is an onsite bakery where you can purchase everything from Bread buns to huge birthday cakes. There is a fuel station attached which offers discounted fuel for its members. I would like to say shop at a certain time to avoid the queues but I’m not sure that there is a quieter time.
Update: so far few months later, most staff are nicer and new faces were seen with variety. I understand the store might got peak hours with lack of staff. So I do appreciate the store takes opionions seriously and improves even during the hard time. Past comments: I am sorry to say Costco Leeds is the worst costco I visited so far. I have visited more than ten Costco in the UK including Manchester, several around London and in Scotland, and Costco in Australia as well. Time to time I face cashier treats me with black face impolitely right after smiling to white customers. And I was always asked to check my membership card while they just let other customers get through smoothly. One time when I approached the membership counter, the staff impatiently refused to answer my questions after I waited for a long queue. I would say all those rude behavious were not acceptable. And I have never encountered these in other Costco. Nevertheless the management is horrible. Every time I visit a new rule is launched making customers more inconvenient. Such as membership card always need even I go to the membership counter. If I want to access toilet or cafe I need to go all way getting through main entrance and cashier. And the cafe sitting plan always changing, in a worse way. And the way they organise merchandise changes every week which is hard to find a specific product, even the staff don’t know where they place it. Not to mention the cafe food is the worst. Hot dog bread is always soaked in water. And the food is sometimes cold. I really doubt the points adding so many banning rules would contribute to any profit gain. While Costco Leeds is actually not that busy when compared to the ones I visited around London.
Priorities first 😂 😂 Best hotdogs I've ever tasted. 5 ⭐ Stand out feature is the fast food store. Quality products at the cheapest prices. I don't know how they do it A great store with everything from fresh fruit and veg to flat screen TVs to garden sheds. The quality is always excellent so even if you might find something similar for a cheaper price I doubt it'll be of the same standard. The food in the food court is cheap and top quality. The pizzas are absolutely huge too
