Collingwell Cottage is a single storey stone property located in the owners' large, delightful garden which boasts many attractive features, including the original well. The cottage, which can sleep up to 4 people, is in a quiet location overlooking open countryside and has recently been converted to provide modern, well equipped accommodation. It benefits from double glazing, full central heating and a fitted kitchen. The double and twin bedrooms both have ensuite shower, basin and WC facilities.

Hunton is a pretty village situated in Lower Wensleydale. Village facilities include a pub with restaurant, a shop / post office and a village green with play area. This location provides an ideal base for walkers / tourers wishing to visit the attractions of both Wensleydale and Swaledale. The owners themselves are keen walkers and are happy to advise on the delights of walking in the Dales. Within a 10 minute drive are historic Richmond and Middleham as well as the attractive market towns of Bedale and Leyburn. There is a golf course less than a mile away and the area boasts many excellent restaurants.

The cottage is located in beautiful countryside, yet easily accessible from the A1, being less than a 15 minute drive from the Leeming Bar junction. York, Harrogate and Durham are within easy reach, as are the major tourist attractions at Fountains Abbey, Beamish and Lightwater Valley
