Sunny Hill Farm camping & caravan site

We stayed one night on our journey North, had we not booked our next stop we would had stayed longer. Wonderful views quiet and just a beautiful site to relax unwind and enjoy some solitude. Carol the owner, was very welcoming and helpful with lots of local knowledge. With miminal facilities toilet ,shower, (which were spotlessly clean), an Elsan disposal point and a water tap, this site is excellent for those wanting some peace and quiet, and an escape from the hustle and bustle of life.

We had a couple of nights here recently. Stunning scenery. Great for dog owners & walking in general. Hosts were very helpful & provided us with an offroad cycle route to South Otterington. The wife, sorry I've forgotten her name, also recommended somewhere local for Sunday lunch - it was gorgeous. The facilities are limited & basic but are kept clean and reflect in the price you pay. Will definitely return.

Carole made us so welcome, so much local knowledge wish she is willing to share. She went out of her way to help us at a very bad time. Thank you. This is lovely site if you want a quiet holiday with ever changing beautiful views. We will be back.

Excellent well cared for site with clean toilet and shower. Good value for money. Great views and farmers working late tonight, taking advantage of the dry weather today. Top notch hosts, very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay. It won't be the last!
