Cleveland Hill Views Holiday Park

Second time visiting, just me and my dog. This little park is very quiet and lovely for a relaxing break. Marske beach is great and only a short drive away. The Lodge is well equipped and the hot tub is a perfect addition.

2nd time coming here and the visit was even better than the last. The accommodation is absolutely fantastic, could happily move in. The hot tub is huge and so relaxing. The warden Gary is helpful and leaves you to relax in peace, but is there when needed. Would recommend to anyone, looking to get away for peace and quiet and a relaxing break

If this could be 0 stars it would be. Drove nearly two hours to arrive to a “clean lodge” - dead flies in the shower, hair on the pillows, a filthy fridge & a toilet that would not flush. NO WORKING HOT TUB! Had to ring the grounds man on arrival who stated all had been cleaned & the hot tub was on. When checking the hot tub it was freezing cold and the jets were not working, so no way of it warming up. Contacted Donna who I assume is the park manager and got no response. Had to ring the grounds man who was on his holidays and he said he would call us back. After waiting and getting no call back we tried calling multiple times to see how this was going to be resolved. Donna’s phone was turned off or she had blocked us, we then called the grounds man again who admitted that they were aware of the broken hot tub PRIOR to us travelling to the site and that they were waiting for the hot tub guy but didn’t know when he was coming. He said to call Donna as she wasn’t answering him either. Donna continued to ignore our calls/phone turned off. Eventually had to call Hoseasons directly and after an hour of waiting to get through they were disgusted at Donna’s service and issued a full refund on the spot. We drove two hours to spend two hours there and then again driving home. Avoid like the plague, it seems that Donna / the owners of the site just bank on people rolling over and saying OK so they can keep the extortionate amount of money that they have charged for a less than average lodge. Should be removed from Hoseasons & closed down.

I was quite worried with some of the reviews but we were happy with the lodge. Only critique was the shower slightly leaked onto the floor when in use and there was some mould/damage due to this. We stayed in a micro lodge - clean, nice and cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was smaller but more than enough for 2 people in my view. Heating was really good. Nice and peaceful weekend.

I do not recommend this establishment. At all. Do not expect any response from hosts beyond automated messages. I left a review on AirBnB with my frankly quite disappointing experience in the barely maintained lodge and have had a further two automated messages requesting a five star review. I'd messaged months prior to our stay and was ignored. It's really quite annoying now. Save your money. Edit to add: I'm STILL getting bombarded with spammy messages from this company asking for reviews. You couldn't be bothered to respond to ANY questions prior to our stay and now you won't leave me alone after I've already checked out and reviewed!! Unprofessional and harassing!
