York Meadows is set on the outskirts of Sheriff Hutton where the skyline is dominated by the Castle ruins. In Sheriff Hutton there is a takeaway and a pub which offers a friendly warm welcome.

York is 8miles from the park which has something to offer all the family, whether it’s a day’s shopping, visiting the world famous Shambles, or having a family day at the cinema/bowling. York Dungeon, York Railway Museum, Castle Museum, Jorvik Centre, and York Minister are some of the most popular attraction in the area. There are some great adventure parks nearby such as Flamingo Land, or Water World, as well as indoor soft play areas for those wet days.

For all those that like walking, this is the perfect area for you. With a network of public footpaths nearby, you can go on a different adventure each day with the Ebor Way, Wold Way, Centenary Way.
