Recommend the Visitor Information Centre if you are visiting the are. Friendly staff will help you with ideas on things to do and how to get around the area. Also selection of local gifts to buy.
Needed a couple of Ilkley souvenirs. Entered visitor centre. Started browsing. Then told they were closing for lunch so we had to leave. No further comment.
Staff are always efficient and chatty. Quiet clean rooms. Will promptly order in new books from across the system. Pity if plans to reduce newspapers go ahead. Haven of peace, with hot drinks a lovely touch. An adornment to the town.
