I would not come here again. Prices are literally nearly double what you play at similar pubs elsewhere (e.g.£10.50 for a medium glass of white wine, £25 for a veggie burger with chips and a side salad or vegetable) and the quality was indifferent, other than the chips, which were very good. Extremely limited choice for vegetarians. The burger was small and stodgy, and came with not so much as a parsley leaf. I ate it because I'd paid for it, not because it was worth eating. They'd run out of meat burgers for the kids on a Friday night. Service was not particularly friendly and an unfortunate mixture of inefficient with bringing the food (nearly an hour) and clearing drinks before you finish them. Pretty lights and decor don't make up for feeling that you'd been absolutely fleeced.
Good service and food. Personally I thought my starter was a little under seasoned, but only a little. The kids portion was fine for our 4 year old but it may not suffice for older kids. The only thing I'd like to see is a local lager as they have local ales. The white Russian chocolate orange was awesome!

Mid afternoon Sunday lunch. Quite an unassuming place from the outside as it's quite cosy inside. Food was good although I thought the kids main was a little small. Perfectly fine for our four year old but I think any older and you'd expect a little more. White Russian was delicious!
The Ilkley Vaults has been one of our go to places for longer than I can remember. Like a fine wine - it gets even better with age. We arrived mob handed, no problem - warm welcomes all round - service was attentive but relaxed and friendly. The food is outstanding. Choice, quality and presentation. It’s great to see the place full and vibrant - well deserved. Back very soon!!
