Avanti is an Independent Coffee House in Ilkley.
We pride ourselves on good quality, freshly prepared food and excellent coffee in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We have a large selection of coffee’s and specialty teas.
At Avanti we are passionate about our coffee and as such we select the finest coffees from around the world and all staff are barista trained. Our beans are hand roasted in small batches to order, ensuring freshness and quality with every cup. Our coffee comes from sustainable sources at above fair trade prices.
We offer a range of freshly prepared sandwiches, soups and panini’s as well speciality salads and homemade cakes.
We also cater for a range of dietary needs including gluten free and offer healthy children’s platters with sandwiches and fruit.
We believe in supporting local business and so most of our food is sourced locally within Ilkley where possible.
Avanti are always happy to recommend other businesses and are always keen to support local groups and networks. Whether this is through supporting charity work or providing a space to meet up.
We have been rated 5 stars by Bradford Metropolitan District Council on our food hygiene standards.

I visited this coffee shop on a Sunday afternoon, as I had been planning to try it for a while. Unfortunately, when I arrived, they weren’t serving any food, only cakes and brownies. So, I went with what was available: lemon cake, brownie, cappuccino, and flat white. Everything was enjoyable, with the cake being very soft and the brownie a bit too sweet, but the coffee was spot on, and the service was quick.
Nice friendly staff, great coffee, nice location. My food was very disappointing however: a tenner for some avocado and egg on a single piece of barely toasted cheap bread, really bad value. Would come back for coffee but not to eat again.
Indoor & outdoor dining. Lovely location in Ilkley. Service was excellent. Food cooked to order, so a little bit of a wait. Reasonable prices. Ilkley is a great town to visit.
Back for breakfast. Forgotten our order though our fault for not checking earlier this ended up waiting for long time. Once we checked with them, food was served promptly. Poached eggs nicely done. Given the high costs these days, it's understandable that an extra sausage costs £2.2. plates looked quite plain with just what we ordered, poached eggs on crumpets. Think a few grapes or cucumber might liven up the dish a bit. Service is friendly and trey were really apologetic about the forgotten order. Previously: Stopped for quick and light lunch. Got the daily soup (potato with rosemary) which comes with toasted bread (focaccia). Good value and nice seating.
Perfect little coffee shop. Food was delicious, staff were very friendly and helpful, to all customers. I will certainly be back to visit this independent coffee shop, when there are two large chain coffee shops within walking distance.
