A stunning destination that’s definitely worth a visit! The hiking trails are well-maintained and offer a moderate challenge, making them great for all levels. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views and peaceful natural surroundings. Perfect for a day trip or a nature-filled weekend escape. Nice ice cream 🥰
The Cow & Calf Rock Cafe is under new ownership and management. We've been big fans over the years, but yesterday was our first visit after the changeover (in December 2024!) And we're fans, still - we had the medium cone of Yorkshire Dales ice cream, to be shared. We'll definitely be back to work our way down the menu.
There were 2 guys when we went and they were quick to serve and there were many places to sit. Nice view, atmosphere and food
Great food and drink, staff were quite slow but there was only one person working, the bacon roll is absolutely amazing, the milkshakes were really nice too. Beautiful views, I would recommend going here
The Cow and Calf cafe offers lovely ice creams with generous portions, even for a small size, and the prices are very reasonable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely beautiful and makes it a great spot to stop. However, the menu was a little disappointing as it’s quite limited, and sandwiches are only served till 11am.
