Max and the team are spectacular. Incredible service, amazing food, and perfect coffee. All served with a smile, great conversation in a welcoming and cosy environment. Not just the best cafe in Ilkley, but probably in all of Leeds and Yorkshire.
Gourmet greasy spoon - is the only way I can describe this place. All delicious breakfast and brunch items you’d expect but at exceptional standards. The bacon sandwich actually had crispy bacon (as stated on the menu) but not burnt. The service was incredible, so attentive and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back and make this a regular breakfast destination.
Excellent, friendly café with efficient, pleasant staff who read the room well. Plenty of outside seating with blankets available. The coffee is great, I haven't tried the food yet but it looks good.
I'm new to this area, was visiting local doctors who gave me some pretty bad health news... I wanted to go home but stopped by for a quick coffee and bite to eat... the staff where so welcoming, and I don't just mean, hi and a smile, I mean really welcoming, really cared about your morning, service with not just a smile, but a laugh and banter... it was so refreshing to watch in this day an age of automation and tech... they proper lifted my spirit, made me realise it's not all that bad... and the coffee and tea cake was bloody awesome. Thank you so much for making me feel good!
