We had an excellent roast here with our kids. They were very accommodating and friendly. The facilities were really clean and it has a good baby change table. The food was really nice. I had the nut roast which was delicious. The beef was also very well cooked. It’s a great roast and felt like a home cooked one. Nice veg. Good gravy. Great Yorkshire puddings. The sticky toffee pudding was nice but very sweet. We would definitely come back
An absolutely fantastic dining experience. The staff were lovely, patient and welcoming. The food was exceptional, especially their gluten free options and the atmosphere was perfect. We had a really delicious Sunday dinner here and will be returning. 100% check it out!
Went to the Forde Ilkley last night making it my third visit, and yet again the food was excellent couldn't be faulted. However after dessert my guest and I decided to have an after dinner drink each as we were having such a lovely time. That was soon to change as one of the inexperienced fronts of house staff came to our table and told us we had ten minutes to leave even though I could clearly see at least five or six empty tables, unfortunately this is all I can remember about my experience of the evening and at £140 for two people not sure if I will be back!!!!
A fantastic addition to Ilkley’s dining scene! Forde’s is an outstanding restaurant that delivers on every front. The wine, service was thoughtful and well-curated, and the food, especially its presentation, was nothing short of exceptional. One of the highlights of our evening was the perfectly paced service, which allowed us to relax, chat, and truly enjoy the experience without ever feeling rushed. Each dish arrived fresh and piping hot, bursting with flavour. I highly recommend trying their creative take on top-tier sharing plates at your earliest opportunity. Delicious food, warm hospitality, and great value for money, what more could you ask for? The music in the background was also great.
Great food, great staff. Food is up there with the best in the Leeds area. Well worth a visit.
