This was my second visit to Midgley's Fish and Chip Shop while driving back to Leeds, and it was just as impressive as the first. The staff are always polite and welcoming, which makes the experience all the more pleasant. The fish and chips were absolutely fabulous—truly the best I've had in a long time. The batter was nice and crispy, and the chips were perfectly tasty. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and craving a top-notch British classic!
never had a problem when ordering in shop however ordered for pick-up 2 fishn chips 1 fishcake and chips arrived 5 minutes early my order was alread on the counter ALL contents old not fresh fried f&c fish dry batter dark brown chips dry fishcake batter soggy fish dry potatoe crumbly floury and all cold 5 minutes from shop to home shouldnt be that cold dog had fishcake and fish most of the chips went to the birds -
Popped in as we were passing through on our evening journey. Friendly staff. Ordered 2 x small fish and chips, fried to order. Absolutely beautiful and more than enough for us. Clean eating area outside and came with napkins and forks, perfect. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
Very oily fish and chips! We threw it away couldn’t eat it
This fish and chips shop has slowly got worse and worse. Just picked up my final fish and chips from Midgley after spending £12.65 for a fish and chips the fish was green and stunk badly will never be coming back. Not recommended!
