Park is great , playground also but we went there for a bit of swim and there are only stones , no sand at all like showing pictures on Google.. very small too. Waste of time to drive if you not local.
Friendly staff, good outside seating much of which is shaded, nearby beautiful river Wyre.
Good free car park right next to the Park.....not too many spaces to play with thouy, I expect it's very busy over a weekend, it was a Thursday when we used the carpark and got straight into a parking bay.
Got there early so plenty of space but a lot busier later. Free parking with cafe serving food and alcohol. Toilets but they cost 40p!! Card reader though. Nice walk along the river from carpark. Left the car there all morning whilst doing the river walk and then the shops in the town.
