Absolutely appalling! After multiple calls and assessments with 111 I was advised that I should ring Genesis Dental Care Ilkley or Ilkley Dental Care and that our little, 4 year ole Ukrainian refugee needed to be seen within 7 days. 111 told me that the dentist practice have a duty of care and need to see him. Genesis told me I was lying “there is no way NHS 111 would have said that” and “it’s not our responsibility to take him on as a patient”. Bear in mind, we are talking about a child here….Luckily, after some discussion, Ilkley Dental helped us.
Spent 45 minutes waiting on the 'phone, the last 35 being assured I was first in line. I then gave up. Been with them for about 10 years but fed up of changes in dentist every couple of years and deteriorating service.
