The Hair & Makeup Project

I arranged for the hair and make up project to do hair and make up for my wedding last Sunday. Stacey did both my trial hair and make up a few months before my wedding and on the day itself. Making me feel confident and a million dollars! Stacey and Keila provided such a flawless service on Sunday. They made me and my bridal party look and feel amazing. They were very professional and the talkative and bubbly energy we needed on a nerve wracking morning. They couldn’t have impressed me more. Another asset to a fabulous wedding service is that Stacey will bring the appropriate amount of hair and make up artists based on your wedding party size.

Stacey is simply amazing! There is nobody that can make me feel as good on a night out than her! Give her your outfit and she will know exactly what hair style & makeup to do to make it all flow and work perfectly. She really has an eye for detail and my makeup has always felt flawless and lasted all night. The salon in Ilkley is warm, welcoming and it feels like a real pamper to get over to the salon, sit back & let her work her magic! Would highly recommend, she’s the best 👌

The Hair & Makeup Project did our hair and makeup at my wedding this weekend!! Firstly the trials offered were amazing and you took so much time talking through what we wanted from the day and how it would work. The artists both arrived on time on the wedding day and were straight to work, despite them having to have got up so so early to get to our location! Stacey and Ally were fab and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the way I looked and I know the bridesmaids loved their looks too! You were both amazing and kept so calm too which made me feel calm!! Thank you so much again and best wishes for the future 🥰 xx

We found the hair & make up project on Facebook. We were looking for a hair and makeup artist for our wedding in July 2025. We liked the look of the pictures uploaded on their page and decided to message them. Stacey the salon owner messaged back and we corresponded back and forth about what we’d like for our 8 bridesmaids for our special day. Stacey is an absolute pleasure to deal with and she is truly a master at her craft. It was soon time for our hair and makeup trials and the styles she came up with absolutely blew us away. She made us feel so at ease in her salon and our 2 bridesmaids chosen loved their looks. We showed the other bridesmaids the designs and all of them fell in love. We knew we had made the right decision choosing Stacey. The team kept in touch leading upto our big day and no question was too much to ask. Stacey explained everything so clearly and was so friendly. Then came our wedding day and Stacey and her team arrived bright and early and were very professional throughout the day…….even with 1 difficult bridesmaid the team were unfazed and worked impeccably as a team. They all made us feel a million dollars on the day and the hair and make up photographed so well. We got married on the hottest day of the year and Stacey and her fantastic team were there for all the touch ups and everything was flawless. We cannot fault any of their work, everything was exquisite. Amazing from start to finish! I was a bridesmaid at my friend’s wedding where Stacey and Alice did the hair and makeup. From start to finish they were both faultless! Before the wedding day I went for a trial with Stacey. It was so easy to book. From the moment I walked into the salon Stacey was so welcoming and friendly. Stacey listened to what I wanted and nothing was too much for her, she made me feel comfortable and happy with how I was going to look on the big day. When the big day came we met the lovely Alice, who again was just amazing! They both made me feel so comfortable and nothing was too much of an ask for them! Both Stacey and Alice were super helpful (to even helping me put on my jewellery) I felt amazing that day so a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Stacey and Alice, you truly are amazing and I couldn’t have asked for better 💕
