Pharmacy+Health - Springs Lane

My father brought my mother to the pharmacy as she was feeling very unwell. A kind and attentive Asian gentleman immediately offered to check her blood pressure. After carrying out the check, he calmly but firmly advised us to go to the hospital straight away as it was extremely high. Thanks to his quick thinking, professionalism, and the efficient service provided by the pharmacy team, we were able to get my mother the urgent medical attention and medication she needed at the hospital. We are incredibly grateful for their care and support during such a worrying time.

Excellent service persistently with all members of staff within this pharmacy. Nothing is ever too much trouble and staff always ensure I receive my medication swiftly . Thank you

The Cow Pasture Road pharmacy was excellent but it's been downhill all the way since the move to Springs Lane. My husband needed an urgent prescription from the out of hours GP on bank holiday Friday, Boots pharmacy dispensed the prescription as Springs Lane was closed for FOUR DAYS. One of the core functions of a pharmacy is dispensing prescriptions and the drastic cut in opening hours at Springs Lane impedes this - not open at all on weekends, closed over bank holidays, very much shorter opening times on the days this pharmacy is open - l note the excuse that the reduced opening hours are to facilitate staff to offer wider additional NHS health checks, why is it either or? Where was the patient consultation? Other pharmacies offer both don't they?

Thank you so much for being so professional considerate and understanding the treatment I received was first class I filled in the doctors form received a phone call from the surgery to visit the pharmacy and they will contact me for the next appointment which took all of 30 minutes attended on time treated and out within 20 minutes fantastic service well done NHS
