If I could give no stars I would. I went in yesterday and tried an item on. I said I would go back today in the afternoon to try it again and they promised to save it for me. They took my phone number and we agreed that if anyone else showed interest they would call me so I could pay for it. I arrived around 3.45. I had my mum with me (who I care for as she has dementia so we had been a little delayed) but it was still the afternoon as we had agreed and I’d had no phone calls. At first I was ignored and then a very rude woman with blond hair walked up to me and said “it’s gone”. I said I thought we had agreed they would call me to which she said I had said I would come back in the afternoon. I did and I had of course just as I promised I would. Still no apology, simply appalling customer service and I can just hear her telling the lady that did buy it that if she didn’t another lady was coming in to buy it that afternoon. I will never shop there again. There are plenty of nice shops with good service with staff who don’t treat customers this way.

Called in today to be met by lovely chatty friendly staff. Beautiful clothes too. Next time I'm in Ilkley I'll definitely be back. Great customer service

Tried to take my great grandma shopping round ilkley the other week in her wheelchair. She saw the clothes in the window of your shop and wanted to come in to have a look for potential Christmas presents for us. However when trying to enter the shop we found that there was a big step to get in. Upon asking the lady in the shop about getting a ramp for disabled access (which I thought to be a legal requirement to have some form of disabled access???) I was told that there was no ramp or any form of equipment available that could provide access at all so we could not come in. The best they could offer was to attempt to lift the front of the wheelchair while I lifted the back with a 100yr old lady in it!! This is obviously dangerous and I was not going to risk tipping a 100yr old on the floor to enter a shop, regardless of the fact that it was not going to work anyway. My great grandma and grandma accompanying us were so embarrassed at the event and have now refused to go shopping again for fear of it being “too difficult and embarrassing”. How on Earth can you get away with having no disabled access? Where is the inclusion aspect to shopping in ilkley!

Lovely lady helped me to try on etc. She was very helpful and not the usual Ilkley type at all.
