A lovely company, my item arrived when promised, very well packaged and even had a lovely hand written note thanking me for my order. I hope they continue to thrive and I will definitely be using them again. Thank you Eric Spencer for maintaining the personal touch!

At the foot of the Yorkshire Dales is the small town of "Ilkley". The town is not only an excellent starting point for trips into the countryside, but also impresses with a beautiful centre, which is decorated by small shops and pubs. One of these shops is "Eric Spencer", a family-run business that focuses mainly on English menswear. The shop is clean and neatly furnished, as you would expect from an English style. Shortly after entering, I felt the familiar atmosphere when one of the salesmen greeted me and offered me to guide me through the shop. I can imagine that this small shop has a lot of competition from the internet. For this reason I was very happy that I was not pushed to buy and that I had enough time to look at everything. I'd been looking for a particular Barbour and found it on Eric Spencer's website. As I'd already been let down by another company, I called to check stock availability was as shown. A very pleasant chap took my call confirming the coat was in stock suggesting I ordered online as it was more secure. I did this on Wednesday 11th Oct, the goods were delivered today, Friday 13th. Excellent service all round.

I bought a pair of custom made R.M Williams boots that took 12 weeks to make and had to be shipped over from Australia.The customer service from this company was excellent and they were very happy to keep the boots to one side for when I could make it in the store.The staff there were very friendly and down to earth and I have not found a better and more comfortable pair of boots! From a very happy customer.

After looking online for a knowledgeable highstreet retailer for quite some time I visited Eric Spencer's pre lockdown. I wanted a specific Brook Taverner jacket and found not only did they stock them but I could also tell the staff had an affinity and understanding of classic British fashion. Already happy with that 👌🏼👌🏼 I found my jacket but the arm length was too short - a problem I often find. Edward the well informed salesman there contacted Brook Taverner straight away and ordered a long fitting jacket post haste which has been a pleasure to wear hence the reason I'm now writing this review. I really think the shop has a fantastic range of products which you can appreciate the high quality of fabrics and craftsmanship available from the products. Since my last visit the staff are always very welcoming and pleasant. From a very happy customer! 👔👢🎩
