The Fitting Room

I'm always so pleased with the service and attention received from the staff in this shop and the quality of the underwear. So much so, that I order my bras over the phone from France and get family and friends to bring them over! I still get impeccable service!

Bamboozled by bra sizes, fit, shape, material, etc I have avoided buying them for over 20 years, opting for generic crop tops and pull on sport styles. But a recent shoulder injury means I cant manage pulling these over my head anymore so I really needed help. Elaine and Lorraine at The Fitting Room listened to what my needs and preferred styles were and gave me excellent attention until we found the right fit, size, colour and shape. Their expertise and knowledge was phenomenal. No pushy selling, their ethos being that they would rather me buy one perfect bra rather than a couple of mediocre bras. They worked hard for me to go away with that one perfect bra. Although I needed a whole new bra wardrobe they didn't push to sell. I was so satisfied I did order more bras and eagerly await their arrival. Without doubt Elaine and Lorraine provided the best retail service I have ever experienced. Thank you ladies, your help means you have another loyal customer.

I visited the Fitting Room today with my daughter in law. The staff were amazing they helped my daughter in law chose suitable bras. The staff then gave their undivided attention to getting the correct fit of bra for me. I came out with a bra then ordered bras to be posted to me as I was on holiday in the area. I cannot praise the staff enough for their help and expertise. A great independent shop who have their customers requirements at heart. I was confident throughout the fitting, they would not have sold me something that was not suitable for me. Well worth visiting this shop.

If you want outstanding exceptional service use " The Fitting Room" I found this fabulous independent shop lasy year and purchased lingerie & swimware. The staff were amazing and so helpful.......they advised me on the best product for my needs / comfort. I tried various items until we found the perfect one...... Of course I didn't just buy one !! The staff were extremely professional, relaxed and welcoming. I've been in this morning and once again professionalism to the end by Kim. She spent so much time with me. Her expertise provided me with confidence to wear an outfit that looked perfect. If you want impeccable service.....call in. There is a sale on too. !! Thank you so much Kim. 5* Sandra

Terrible customer service. Incredibly rude and extremely discriminative. I was laughed at and judged. I'm horrified at what I experienced today by not one but two members of staff, one being the owner. In reply to your reply, you laughed not once but twice. There were no threats or name calling on my behalf. Please do explain what threats were made and what names were called. As you stated I walked into the shop very happy. I explained my reasons for returning the items and apologised as you appeared very unhappy with my explanation. Both items were very uncomfortable and irritated my skin. This is not something to be noticed during a 5 minute rushed fitting. I had two members of staff against me behaving in a belittling and aggressive manor. The way you handled the situation yesterday was totally unprofessional. I made the suggestion that you verbally tell your customers your returns policy as those who maybe visually impaired will struggle to read or may not be able to read your notice/receipt at all. I asked would you expect a visually impaired person to read your notice/receipt, you replied, yes, because I don't have to verbally tell anyone. I appreciate you are an independent business, as you mentioned yesterday you are thriving and will continue to thrive without my custom. Maybe a little training in customer service and inclusion would be of help to you and your staff.
